What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a Cabinet Designer who eats, sleeps, and breathes innovation. You'll be responsible for bringing visions to life, collaborating closely with clients and our talented team to design custom cabinets that exceed expectations. Attention to detail is your middle name, and you thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the cabinet design process from start to finish, including conceptualization, development, and finalization of designs.
• Incorporate sustainable design principles into all cabinet designs.
• Use effective sales strategies with clients, to develop accurate and detailed design specifications and drawings.
• Collaborate with other designers, engineers, and architects to ensure all designs are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and meet client needs.
• Manage project timelines and ensure all design work is completed on schedule.
• Manage cabinet suppliers by establishing relationships with cabinet vendors and deliver order information to team to coordinate delivery and installation.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communication throughout the design process.
• Conduct regular research and stay up-to-date on industry trends, materials, and design techniques.
• Utilize design software (e.g. 20/20 Spaces, SketchUp, AutoCAD, ChiefArchitect) to create high-quality, detailed design drawings.
• Problem-solve and provide creative solutions to design challenges.
• Ensure all designs comply with local building codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cabinet design.
• 7+ years using 2020 design programs.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 20/20 Design, and ChiefArchitect.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with other designers and engineers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations, and ability to ensure compliance with them.
• Customer-centric approach with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Salary and Benefits:

• Full time
• Starting salary $52,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
